Los invitamos cordialmente al primer evento en Champaign-Urbana que celebrará El Grito de la Independencia Mexicana. Queremos celebrar y compartir una auténtica celebración con la diversa comunidad en la que vivimos, creando un espacio en el cual nuestra comunidad Latina e invitados puedan celebrar nuestra herencia y cultura.

Disfrutarán de música en vivo, vendedores de manualidades, tradicionales bailables folclóricos de México a partir de las 4:00 de la noche. Maize está a cargo de proveer auténtica cocina mexicana y bebidas desde su food truck y patio bar. El evento culminará con el tradicional Grito a las 10:00 de la noche.

We cordially invite you to Champaign-Urbana's open event celebrating El Grito De Independencia. It is our goal to showcase and highlight Mexico's true and only Independence Day to our diverse community while allowing our Latin community and guests to celebrate it's heritage and culture.

Enjoy live music, arts and craft vendors and traditional folkorico dancers throughout the evening starting at 4PM. Maize will be providing authentic Mexican cuisine, drink, and libations from their food truck and patio bar. The culmination of the event will be the traditional El Grito at 10PM. We look forward to seeing you there!
